  • City Commons CSA

City Commons is Detroit's multi-farm Cooperative CSA and online store, offering a variety of locally and regeneratively grown produce. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a fantastic way for people who care about local food, sustainable agriculture and revitalizing the local economy to get directly involved in making it a reality. CSA members support the farms by buying seasonal “shares” that provide them with vegetables and other farm products. Members receive boxes of farm fresh goodies every week during the growing season. This ensures the community will have access to the best seasonal produce and supports our farms in the spring when the majority of seasonal expenses occur. Our farms range in size, style, and what we grow, but are all committed to safe and sustainable practices to build a healthy local food economy and a food sovereign Detroit. We do not use any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or GMO crops, and all our land is soil tested to ensure no contamination.
